Our Art Program in the Foxborough Schools is based on a structured curriculum that aligns itself with the Massachusetts Frameworks. The foundation of our teaching is based on the elements and principles of design. The use of line, shape, color, form, space, texture and pattern are incorporated into art lessons along with a variety of art mediums and techniques. The students study the works of famous artists spanning many cultures and decades in art history. Our interdisciplinary themes and projects reflect the importance of art in the learning process, and how we see and experience the wonderful world around us.
